Peace Garden coming to Cossington Children thanks to the generosity of local businesses
Farmer and Carlisle Toyota are pleased to be one of a number of local companies who have contributed financially to enable Cossington C.E. Primary School to build a fantastic Peace Garden.
This quiet space in the playground will be a wonderful place for the children to sit, read and talk together.
Below are pictures showing the design created by Goscote Design. They show the overall design for the shape of the Peace Garden and computer images of what the garden will look like when complete. The school’s aim is to complete the construction of the garden in September so that it is ready for use throughout the new academic year.
This Peace Garden is very much a community event and one that we are excited to be a part of. Jonathan Carlisle of Farmer and Carlisle said, “The school are holding two community days where people can come along and help with the project. The first of these is booked in as Saturday 31st August from 9.30 onwards. Anybody who can spare some time on this day to help clear the site would be most welcome. The more people the better and no gardening skills are needed! Everyone at Farmer and Carlisle are really looking forward to seeing the finished garden very soon and are so happy to be part of such a great project!”.
More to follow soon….
